![]() ![]() ![]() I can hear heavy fire being laid down to the North, hopefully the zombies, then I hear Chaz scream, “Gangers behind you.”Īnother small group had snuck up from the Southeast and taken up a defensive position on the stone wall that I had been covering. Abram and I creeped into the woods for a look out to the Southeast.ĭammit, 4 gangers were sneaking through the forest, we got the jump on em, if I didn’t have my assault rifle we’d been fucked, we got lucky and took out 3 of the bastards before they even knew what hit em. I sent Erian with the machine gun up with Chaz, Harry, Dorsey, and Eric to take care of the Zombies before they got close. The report from our rifles woke up some zombies from the Northeast, fuck, just what we need. we heard movement in the bushes to the south, we thought we were hearing 3 separate groups so I split us up into 2 teams and we took up defensive positions at the walls.Ī group of gangers came running up, there were only 3 of them, but they were screaming and shouting as usual, hell 2 of em didn’t even have firearms, they never saw it coming. I knew something was wrong.įirst off, you don’t survive this close to the Wildlands by giving things away, plus they weren’t carrying weapons, but what really tipped me off was their friendliness, they were trying to mask something. ![]() ![]() They were eager to listen to our stories and some of the nicest people we’d met. We were greeted by friendly people who offered us food and shelter for the night, there were 7 or 8 of them, an extended family living in a couple of cabins, they had built fences and some fields and seemed self sufficient. A couple miles down the road we came across a small settlement. Yesterday we passed a side road that seemed to be getting some decent use. We could have easily taken anything we wanted from the villages, we outgunned them, but then we’d just be another bunch of fucking gangers.Īfter several days of nothing I was beginning to believe we had crossed into the Wildlands, where the zombies are thicker and the only people walking around that ain’t dead are gangers or backwards tribal nutjobs. None of the settlements had heard of the Nazi invasion and none of them seemed to believe us. We were greeted by gunpoint, as is expected, and ushered on our way. We’ve spent the last couple of weeks traveling North, we went through a couple of small settlements. ![]()
